Our Mind and Peace
The wellbeing of your mind is an enterprise of emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. In order to stay healthy, your physical strength as well as your mental strength is equally important. You may have heard, read or practiced positive psychological practices to keep your mind healthy and strong; mindfulness, gratitude, positive self-talk, acts of kindness, strength based approaches, social connections, and meaning and purpose.
Diving into what makes you particularly worried depends on two major reasons; dwelling on your past or worrying about your future. The past, which is already gone and not in your control is not for you to worry about, but to reflect on. The future, in that sense is to make it better and keep counting on. And, here what you missed is your present moment - the power in this moment. The effort you put into living ''now'' will help you to make the most of ''now''.
Your mindful approach in the present is what we will be talking about as an approach to live in peace with your inner self - to nurture your inner self - and to find the potential it can open up for you.
When you start to live in "now", this will help you to experience and appreciate your present moment. Hence, when you start to focus on your mindfulness well-being, this will increase your cognitive flexibility.
Mindful practices will certainly give you present moment awareness, condition your abilities, and build your mindfulness 'muscle'; a self discovery of who you are, what you want to do, and how you are doing it.
In this series, let's discover who we are, what is our purpose, and how we are going to achieve it all the while finding our peace - together, you and I.
I will write to you soon.

Well written Bee. I enjoyed reading it and hopefully able to practise it but then only to come into realisation that Monday mornings are often shaken up when stupid people rocks up and shakes your zen mindful being.
ReplyDeleteAmazing perspective on holistic well-being, Bee. Excited to join your journey of mindfulness and see how it unfolds.
